Summary of management services and projects accomplished.

Conducted a feasibility study concerning the empowerment of small holder dairy farmers and dairy communities in West Java, Indonesia. Done in cooperation with a NGO Sahabat Cipta Foundation. The study included improving the methodology of fresh milk collection, dairy farming and milk quality.

Providing consultancy of dairy development project under management of NGO in West Java which aims to improve livelihood of dairy farming communities in West Java.

Designing, organizing and managing the entire infrastructure of fresh milk collection chain, including establishing hot milk collection points and chilling centres. Initiated the planning from idea, phased project planning of land procurement, architect design, construction, commissioning and training.

Initiated, organized and managed the quality control of fresh milk from production at farm till delivery at factory gate of the milk processor. Which include the establishment of a fresh milk QC laboratory, fresh milk acceptation testing, transportation of hot and chilled milk, Manuals, Procedures and Work Instructions and organizing ISO and HCCAP certification.

Organized training of professional dairy Extension Officers, Para vets and AI technicians. And developed training modules and courses for dairy farmers. Also dairy demonstration farms for small holder dairy farmers have been designed and build.

Organized the export/export of dairy cattle assignment by sea and air in the Middle East, New Zealand and Asia. Including cattle selection, pregnancy diagnosis, veterinary protocols, cattle quarantine and organizing financing the procurement of dairy cattle to farmers.

Organized the development of IT software which manages the fresh milk payments to farmer groups and individual farmers. Milk pricing (payment) is based on the milk composition, hygiene, farm assessment and includes a bonus/penalty calculation. Also a “Management Information System” module is developed to manage the milk transportation times of collection vans and bulk trucks, including milk weight and temperature differences.
